The membership of the Site Council has been mandated by the Oregon Educational Improvement Act for the 21st Century and by Portland Public Schools’ Board of Education. Membership consists of the school principal, teachers, classified employees, and adult family representatives of students. The mission of the Ainsworth Site Council is to promote educational excellence and student learning and achievement. The main duty is to create and facilitate the School Improvement Plan implementation. The Site Council also fosters family/school/community partnerships at Ainsworth. All parents are welcome to attend Site Council meetings. For more information, call the school office.
