  Scheduled for Friday, October 5th, 2007, this event is a favorite event for all Ainsworth families. It is an old-time carnival for the entire family. The entertainment is geared toward young children as well as the older kids. Grab your cowboy hat and boots and come on down to Buckaroo!

• Holiday Home Tour
  The Home Tour is the biggest PTA fundraiser of the year. Beautiful historic homes are decorated and open to the public for touring. Music and a gift shop help fuel the holiday spirit.

• Talent Show
  For two nights every year, each Ainsworth student has the opportunity to showcase his or her own special talent at the Talent Show. Perfomances range from dancing and piano playing to singing and humourous skits in all ages ranges. This is a PTA- sponsored event. Mark your calendars for March 3-6, 2008:
  • Talent Show #1 = March 3rd -- Dress Rehearsal after school March 5th -- 6:30 Performance
  • Talent Show #2 = March 4th -- Dress Rehearsal after school March 6th -- 6:30 performance

  Talent Show registration forms will be available after holiday break...and will be due in late January.

• Teacher Appreciation
  Every year, the parents join forces show the teachers how appreciated they are. Events include a tea and a dinner.
  
  
• Ainsworth PTA Wreath & Garland Sale
  

 

Order your holiday wreaths and garland from now until November 14th.

Decorate your home and office with fresh, natural, beautiful evergreens, knowing proceeds support our children through the Ainsworth PTA. Wreaths make great holiday gifts for friends, family and business associates. For a little extra, we ship to out of town relatives and clients with little worry to you! Forty percent of your order is tax deductible.

Please make checks payable to Ainsworth PTA. Place orders in the “Wreath Sale” envelope located in the school office or mail them to Susan Kenney at 1616 SW Elizabeth St., Portland, OR 97201. All orders must be in no later than Friday, November 14th. Please see attached order form.

Please also mark your calendars now for wreath pick up on Thursday, December 4th from 1:30-5:30pm. Pick up will be at the Kenney home at 1616 SW Elizabeth St.
